Podsumowanie Eurostażu

Na początku sierpnia zakończył się III etap konkursu Eurostaż o staż w Parlamencie Europejskim w Bruskeli. I miejsce równało się z pracą w sercu Unii, II oraz III - wyjazdem studyjnym, a dwa kolejne nagrodami rzeczowymi. Nie zajęłam żadnego z tych miejsc, jednak nie jestem w stanie, które finalnie zajęłam, ani ile głosów miałam.
Niemniej jednak, na pierwszy rzut chciałabym serdecznie wszystkim podziękować za każdy oddany głos oraz każdą pomoc w ich pozyskiwaniu, jak również wspieranie mnie. Dziękuję za mobilizację i za to, że dzięki Wam uwierzyłam w siebie! ;-)
I etap miał na celu uzupełnienie ankiety dot. m,in. Unii Europejskiej czy Rady Europy. Osoby ze stuprocentowym wynikiem kwalifikowały się do II zadania, gdzie należało napisać przemowę w roli świeżo upieczonego przewodniczącego PE oraz list motywacyjny w języku niemiecki, francuskim, bądź angielskim. Wybrałam - a jakżeby inaczej! - angielski. Szczerze mówiąc liczyłam się z tym, że ostatni etap nie jest dla mnie, jednak okazało się inaczej. Moje prace przyjęły się i walczyłam w ścisłej czołówce. To pokazało mi, że jednak ten mój angielski taki zły nie jest (wbrew opinii szkolnej) i coś tam potrafię ;-)
Ten konkurs pokazał mi, że mogę wiele i warto wierzyć w marzenia. Warto piąć się do przodu. Z pewnością przekonałam się, iż coś potrafię, a także, że mam wokoło siebie osoby, na które bardzo mogę liczyć.
Post ten został stworzony w celu podziękowania wszystkim głosującym, trzymającym kciuki, udostępniającym, a także wierzącym we mnie. Niestety, nie mam możliwości podziękować wszystkim osobiście, a wielu z Was nie znam. Do moich znajomych mam jeszcze jedną prośbę - udostępnijcie moje słowa tym, którzy głosowali na mnie lub podziękujcie za mnie - z góry bardzo dziękuję :-).
Poniżej wstawiam jedną z moich prac - przemowę jako nowy Przewodniczący Parlamentu Europejskiego.

Ladies and Gentlemen!

Thanks to your support and trust, I can stand here today as the new President of the European Parliament. I am optimistic and I believe that our cooperation will have a positive impast. Together, we can face up the problem Europe and the European Parliament facing jointly.

In recent time, the citizens of the United Kingdom decided in a vote to leave European Union. It is a huge pain and a burial history from the beginning of the European Union’s cooperation with Great Britain, chich took place in 1973. Alltough this is a difficult time, however, we all have to face it. Solidarity in the most difficult moment of the European Parliament is the main pillar, which help us together. This is a huge advantage, so that – together – we face the problems of prezent world.

In the beginning the parliamentary term I would also like – as a priority – to Take the floor in connection with the incoming waves of immigrants from Syria. These pe ople are flee from war. People who seek shelter from death. People suffering. People like all of us! Are we also not needed help someday? Advice or shelter? Whether in front of us so the Rother person should not be hut down? Many people in today's world is against the admission of immigrants, but often to amend their decision. Just we must recall the situation in which we were alone. Would we like, therefore, that among the crowd left us without any help?

This is unacceptable! None of us want to be without the help and support, so do not let them also, suffering at the borders of Europe to loneliness and indifference! Human rights belong to everyone of us. Human dignity spaces worldwide and is universal - regardless of skin color, nationality or religious denomination. We are all only human beings who have their advantages and disadvantages! So do not let break our laws, which are both their the law!

Albert Einstein once said he did not know how it will look like World War III, but he knows what will be the fourth. We also do not know. Nowadays, the world is fighting with ISIS. Although the Islamic State effectively trying to intimidate the citizens of Europe. We, as the European Parliament we can not flex before them. We must categorically condemn the policy of fighting and killing innocent and defenseless people. We can not allow the European citizens to feel fear, and consequently - alone fighting face to face of danger. This is what we are responsible for their defense and help! We must show them that we are the power and the Community, which is not fighting alone but together.

Community. It is nowadays sounds unbelievable, but just we are the Community. Together we fight for a better future. Together we face adversity and problems. Together we can do everything. Do not forget that, just because it is the key to success and achievement of our goals.
